Urbanite Magazine asked me to do an illustration for a story about the debate over whether porn movies should be allowed to be shown in an academic setting at the University of Maryland.
Here are the initial sketches:

This sketch was the "first response" based on the initial project description. Not a terribly interesting composition, but i thought i'd use the jagged line created by the desk edges to emphasize a rift. Once I got the copy, I discovered an amusing corollary description of the specific adult film in question which happened to be in the "pirate porn" genre. Of course I couldn't resist the urge to draw a pornstar moustache and a pirate hat:

Happily, this ended up being the favorite sketch:

And the final product, complete with a Terps shirt:

I recently completed identity packages for 2 tech companies: Pringle Consulting Services and Optotraffic. The Optotraffic project had a wide scope including all of the standard identity package components, a trade show booth, brochures, postcards, shirts and even branded beach-balls. I havent gotten my hands on the final prints yet, but here is some of the work.

A new and improved EAT THE WORM is back on my drawing board. Its not at all related to the original concept, excepting that there's still a jacked up journey through the desert and a guy in a bathrobe.
